Police Log: Stoneham Man Accused of Shattering Windshield With A Brick

Stoneham Man Arrested

At 4:11 p.m. Nov. 27, Stoneham Police were called to Green Street for a report of a domestic disturbance. The caller reported a fight with two ex-boyfriends and a brick being thrown through a windshield, according to police. Joseph Neal, 20, of 29 Hanford Road, Stoneham, was arrested and charged with malicious destruction of property over $250 and threatening to commit a crime.

Wallet Stolen at BJ's

At 4:46 p.m. Nov. 28, police responded to BJ's Wholesale Club on Cedar Street for a report of a larceny. The caller, a BJ's member, claimed someone stolen his wallet while he was attempting to buy pizza at the store, according to police. Police filed a report.

Truck Gets Stuck

At 7:52 a.m. Nov. 28, police were called to Fallon Road for a report of a motor vehicle crash. The caller reported a truck with a Dumpster trying to go under bridge got stuck, according to police. A tow truck, State Police and Mass. Highway were called to the scene, according to police. 

Nov. 27

10:26 a.m.: Police responded to Erickson Street on a report of a hypodermic needle found in a bag of cans in the area. An officer recovered the item and disposed of it properly.

7:13 p.m.: Police called to Pond Street for a report of a motor vehicle accident. The caller reported a vehicle rollover, according to police. State Police were notified. No tows or transports logged.

Nov. 28

10:22 a.m.: Police called to Montvale Avenue for a report of a hit-and-run incident. The caller claimed their vehicle was struck by another vehicle and the other driver initially did not want to exchange insurance paperwork, according to police. Both drivers to exchange insurance paperwork, according to police.

12:10 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Lindenwood and Main Streets for a report of a motor vehicle accident. No tows or transports logged.

3:05 p.m.: Police called to Summer Street for a report of a minor motor vehicle accident. No tows or transports logged.

5:04 p.m.: Police responded to the Stoneham Oaks area on Montvale Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle crash. The caller reported the accident as being minor in nature, according to police. No tows or transports logged.

6:29 p.m.: Police called to Wilbur Street on a report of fraud. The caller claimed Victoria Secret called her stating someone opened an account in her name, and fraudulent charges were made, according to police. Police filed a report.
