Police Log: Woman's Vehicle Vandalized on Main Street

At 6:56 a.m Oct. 5, Stoneham Police responded to Main Street on a report of vandalism. The caller reported a rock was thrown at her parked vehicle, smashing the taillight, according to police. Police to file a report.

@10:52 a.m.: Police received a report of three unauthorized charges on the caller's Liberty Bay Credit Union debit card. The purchases were made on Oct. 3 in Florida, according to police. The call was for log entry purposes only, according to police.

@3:35 p.m.: Police called to the area of Main and South Streets for a report of a motor vehicle crash. State Police notified. No tows or transports logged.

@3:52 p.m.: Police responded to the area of Elm and Oak Streets on a report of a motor vehicle crash. One vehicle was towed from the scene, according to police. No injuries reported.

@6:22 p.m.: Police called to Sparhawk Circle on a report of a past assault and battery. The caller alleged that his neighbor hit him with her vehicle, according to police. An officer spoke to both parties, according to police. No arrests reported. Police to file a report.

@7:12 p.m.: Police responded to a Franklin Street apartment to conduct a building check for public safety purposes. An officer checked the building to make sure it was safe for a woman to return home, according to police. A person was summonsed for allegedly breaking and entering into a vehicle.

@8 p.m.: Police called to Brookbridge Road on a report of man soliciting in the area without a permit. Officers told the man he needs to get a permit before he can solicit in town, according to police.

@8:15 p.m.: Police responded to Middle Street for a report of vandalism. The caller reported a window was shot with a BB pellet, according to police. Police to file a report.

@8:23 p.m.: Police responded to Lucy Street on a report of a woman doing political soliciting door-to-door in the neighborhood. Police were unable to locate the woman.

@11:42 p.m.: Police called to the area of Main and North Streets for a report of a two-car crash with possible entrapment and injuries. No transports reported.
