POLICE LOG: Officers Respond to Hit-and-Run Accident at BJ's

At 3:23 p.m. July 17, Stoneham police were called to BJ's parking lot on Cedar Street on a report of a hit-and-run accident. The caller reported a female driver flung her door open and struck his car, causing significant damage. The woman declined to identify herself and left the lot; however, she did go to the police station later on.

@2:53 p.m.: Police responded to Montvale Avenue for a report of a property hit-and-run incident. A possible suspect motor vehicle in parking lot. Police to file a report.

@4:53 p.m.: Police called to Campus Academy on William Street on a report of a past assault. A report was taken by detectives. A summons was sought in the case.

@6:40 p.m.: Police responded to the Stop & Shop area for a report of an outside fire. The mulch fire was extinguished.
