Police Log: Officers Investigate Vehicle Break-In on Franklin Street

At 9:39 p.m. Aug. 28, Stoneham Police received a call from a Franklin Street resident for a report of a breaking and entering into a motor vehicle. The caller claimed their unlocked vehicle was entered sometime between 7 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. the night before, according to police. An item was stolen from the vehicle. Police filed a report.

@8:01 p.m.: Police called to Drury Lane for a report of suspicious people possibly looking into vehicles. Police were unable to locate the individuals.

@8:26 p.m.: Police responded to on Main Street for a report of a larceny. The caller reported a male took his bike, put it in the woods and said that they would be back t steal it later. The bike was recovered. Police filed a report.
