POLICE LOG: Methuen Woman Accused of Assault And Battery

At 8:54 p.m. Oct. 6, Stoneham Police responded to Franklin Street on a report of an assault and battery in progress. The caller reported being assaulted by their girlfriend. Rosemarie Decesaris, 35, of 22 Penobscott Circle, Methuen, was arrested and charged with assault and battery and resisting arrest.

@12:51 p.m.: Police called to the area of Main Street and Montvale Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle crash. Four people declined transports, and no tows noted.

@3:14 a.m.: Police responded to Main Street Mobil for a report of shoplifting. A man allegedly stole a pack of cigarettes and a lighter off the counter and fled up Central Street toward Stoneham Square, according to police. Police to file a report.

@5:14 a.m.: A person visited the Police Station to report a past hit-and-run incdent on Brookbridge Road. Police to file a report.

@8:16 a.m.: Police called to Sheridan Road for a report of a past larceny. The caller reported two political signs were taken from her lawn sometime betwee 8 p.m. Oct. 6 and 8 a.m. Oct. 7, according to police.

@8:26 a.m.: Police responded to Brookbridge Road for a report of vehicular vandalism. The vehicle was egged sometime overnight, according to police. 

@12:21 p.m.: A Prospect Street resident visited the station to drop off two hypodemric needles found, according to police. The needles were disposed of properly, according to police.
