POLICE LOG: Four Tires Stolen From Vehicle Parked in Woodland Road Lot in Stoneham

At 2:37 p.m. on March 16, Stoneham Police were called to Woodland Road for a report of a past larceny from a vehicle. The property manager told police that there was a vehicle in the rear lot without wheels up on crates. The responding officer reports the ignition was intact. No phone number was available to contact the owner. Lynn Police Department to make contact. The owner was contacted and told police that she parked her car on Woodland Road, and when she returned four tires were gone. Police to investigate.

  • 11:43 a.m.: Police respond to Red Wing Shoe on Montvale Avenue for a report of panhandlers. Police investigate a possible purse-snatching attempt; however, the white man and woman who drove off together in the same vehicle reportedly didn't attempt to steal something, as they were just aggressive panholders.
  • 12:03 p.m.: Police called to the Fellsway West area for a report of a minor motor vehicle accident. No EMS needed. Insurance paperwork was exchanged.
  • 1:35 p.m.: Police respond to the area for a report of a motor vehicle accident. The accident was minor and no one was reportedly transported to a hospital.
  • 2:49 p.m.: Police respond to Kays Road for a report of a possibly sick raccoon. The animal control officer was notified and responding. The animal was trapped and released, as it was not sick.
