East Boston Man Accused of Stealing a Vehicle
At 9:36 p.m. Dec. 27, Stoneham Police responded to Fellsview Terrace to check on a suspicious person in the area. Salvatore Albano, 49, of 270 Lexington St., East Boston, was arrested and charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle.

Road Worker Allegedly Damages Vehicle
At 11:02 a.m. Dec. 27, police responded to the area of Kenwood Avenue and Main Street for a report of vandalism. The caller reported that a worker in the roadway allegedly threw a metal shovel at his vehicle as he was driving by, according to police. A DPW supervisor responded to the location to speak with an officer on scene, according to police. No arrests were logged. Police filed a report.

Assault Claims
At 11:27 a.m. Dec. 27, police were called to Walsh Avenue for a report of an assault with a deadly weapon. The caller reported being threatened by a contractor wielding a knife, according to police. Both parties claimed to be assaulted, but no charges were filed, according to police. Police filed a report.

4:22 p.m.: A person visited the Police Station to report an attempted breaking and entering into a Gould Street home. Police filed a report.

1:08 a.m.: Police called to Spring Street for a report of a motor vehicle crash. The caller reported a car crashed into a pole, according to police. NSTAR was notified about the damaged pole, and a tow truck was also contacted, according to police. One person was transported to Lahey Clinic in Burlington, according to police. Police filed a report.
9:06 a.m.: Police responded to Mauriello Drive on a report of harassment. The caller reported getting harassing emails from an unknown person, according to police. Detectives investigated the incident and filed a report, according to police.
