Assault and Battery

At 8:17 p.m. Dec. 24, Stoneham Police responded to Pleasant Street for a report of an assault and battery. The female victim declined medical treatment, and was advised of her options, according to police. Police filed a report.

Vehicle Broken Into at Redstone Shopping Center

At 12:23 p.m. Dec. 24, police were called to Redstone Shopping Center for a report of a past breaking and entering into a motor vehicle. A bag with a jacket was stolen from the unlocked vehicle, according to police.

Packages Stolen

At 2 p.m. Dec. 24, police responded to Gould Street on a report of a past larceny. The caller reported packages of clothing taken from outside of the property on Dec. 18, according to police. 

Dec. 23

12:47 p.m.: A man visited the Police Station to report a past hit-and-run incident. The man claimed his vehicle was struck while parked on Irving Street, according to police. An officer observed the damage and advised the man to call his insurance company, according to police.

5:24 p.m.: Police called to Main Street on a report of a motor vehicle crash. The caller reported hitting a parked vehicle, according to police. The officer reported very minor damage, according to police.

6:35 p.m.: Police responded to Warren Street for a report of a hit-and-run incident. The caller reported their parked motor vehicle was struck by an unknown vehicle, according to police.

7:22 p.m.: Police called to Stop & Shop Supermarket for a report of a motor vehicle crash. The caller reported that while leaving the parking lot his vehicle was struck from behind by a small blue two-door car that was driven by an older woman, according to police. She fled the area and the man was unable to get the license plate number, according to police. The man told police he wanted to report the incident because he didn't want someone claiming he hit them. The man reported that there was very minor damage to his vehicle, according to police.

Dec. 24

6:38 a.m.: Police called to the area of Central and William Streets for a motor vehicle crash. No injuries or tows logged.

11:06 a.m.: Police responded to Montvale Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle crash. The caller reported a vehicle drove through a fence on Gilmore Street, according to police. A tow truck removed the vehicle, according to police.

12:14 p.m.: Police responded to Kingdom Hall on Franklin Street for a report of vandalism. The caller reported that people removed the boundary markers from surveyed property Dec. 23, according to police.
