Police Investigate Suspicious Person at Stoneham Savings Bank

The following information was supplied by the Stoneham Police. Charges listed do not indicate convictions.

Jan. 7

9:03 a.m.: A caller told police that a utility truck with a wood chipper was sitting in a lot on Spring Street for the passed four days. Officers ran the information and determined that the vehicle was not stolen.

2:26 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of a suspicious couple handing out products on Summer Street. Officers were unable to locate this party.

Jan. 8

7:03 a.m.: Officers responded to a report of a minor fender bender on Franklin Street.

10:51 a.m.: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance at Stoneham Savings Bank. A patron came in with a banking issue and put some employees on alert. The party was told not to return to the bank.

3:18 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of a person receiving threats from their neighbor on Elm Street.

8:20 p.m.: Officers served a summons on Franklin Street.

 

Jan. 9

10:39 a.m.: Officers served two summons on Brentwood Road.

8:17 p.m.: Officers charged Joseph Crotty, 22 of 109 Marble Street, Stoneham with assault and battery.
