Boston Marathon Bombing Victim from Stoneham to Leave Hospital

Stoneham resident Marc Fucarile will be leaving the hospital on Wednesday morning.

The final Boston Marathon bombing victim from Stoneham will be released from a Charlestown hospital on Wednesday, according to a press statement.

Marc Fucarile, of Stoneham, will be discharged from Charlestown-based Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital at 11:30 a.m. 

Wednesday marks the 100th day since the marathon bombings, when Fucarile lost a leg in the blasts.

"Marc will be joined by his family and clinical team as he goes home for the first time since April 15," reads the statement. "...Marc will be the last person injured by the marathon bombing to leave a hospital."

Fucarile will give a short statement and answer a few questions prior to his departure from the hospital, according to the statement.
