No foul play is suspected in the death of a person at the Middlesex Fells Reservation in Stoneham on Saturday, according to a spokeswoman for the Middlesex County District Attorney Marian Ryan's Office.
"It's not a suspicious death," said the spokeswoman on Monday.
Given that the death was not criminal in nature, the District Attorney's office won't be releasing any information about the deceased.
Twitter user @MiddlesexRadio, a user that transcribes police scanner activity, reported that around 9:30 a.m. Saturday police were called for an unresponsive person on a walking path on Ravine Road.
Shortly after, another scanner transmission indicated that the unidentified person was deceased.
A second Twitter user indicated that the scene was being roped off as a found body crime scene, and that notifications were made to necessary police agencies to respond to the walking path.
Mass. State Police later confirmed that a body had been found in the Ravine Road area.
