A Large Coiled Snake and Drug Arrests in Police Logs for August 18 to 21

The following information was supplied by the Stoneham Police Department.

12:46 p.m., August 18: Stoneham police responded to a report of a hypodermic needle on High Street. They found the needle and disposed of it.

3:36 p.m., August 18: Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the back parking lot of 85 Cedar Street. Officers found nothing suspicious and the matter was cleared.

6:04 p.m., August 19: EMS responded to a possible medical emergency at 117 Hill Street. Patient was fine and the matter was cleared.

12:12 p.m., August 19: Officers charged Jennifer Caprio, 33 of 544 Main Street with a warrant for possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute, possession of a Class E substance with intent to distribute, possession of a Class A substance with intent to distribute, possession of a Class B and C substance respectively, and violating the drug laws near a school or park.

5:56 a.m., August 20: Officers responded to a report of a fight inside the Gulf station at 86 Main Street.

8:09 a.m.: Officers found a laptop in the middle of the road.

8:16 a.m., August 20: Officers responded to a report of a large snake coiled under a motor vehicle at 16 Stone Avenue. It turned out to be a “very real looking rubber snake used to ward off rodents.”

3:20 p.m., August 20: Officers responded to a report of a man who took an undermined amount of merchandise from the Mobil station at 250 Main Street.

4:26 p.m., August 21: Hypodermic needle found on the sidewalk on Elm Street. Needle was disposed of.

12:38 p.m., August 21: Officers responded to a report of a solicitor who would not stop soliciting in a building with a “No Soliciting” sign. Officers charged Brandon Best, 20, of 319 Reedsdale Road, Milton with trespassing.
