Thank you Representative Lewis

Representative Lewis,Thank you for your support and knowledgeable letter to Mass. Housing on The Commons at Weiss Farm.As a member of the Friends of Stoneham and a resident for over 40 years you pinpointed the problems that a development of this magnitude would create.  It was a breath of fresh air to read a letter that covered accurately all the points that would be detrimental to our community if a development of this type was built.  I urge you to continue representing Stoneham to the legislature and advising them of the pitfalls of a developer being allowed to use Chapter 40B to his advantage and  stampeding over the communities well being. I also wish you would push the communities you represent to use Chapter 40R and do Smart Growth.  In keeping with that please advise Stoneham officials and the public of any grants or funds available to create a healthier environment for our changing times as small suburban town.
