Taxpayers took back their Town at Special Town Meeting

Last night the taxpayers of Stoneham took back their town.  This vote against the warrant articles at Special Town meeting was significant in the growth of Stoneham.  Believe that the businesses located in the area will garner more by this improved green space and bikers will see their venues and consider them and this could be better advertising than the yellow pages.  It is unfortunate that the behavior of some in the hall including a public official was less gracious from their seats but those that spoke were eloquent, factual and seriously concerned in making Stoneham a solid community.

The Bikeway is one small step for Stoneham and only the beginning.  We need to take further steps to benefit our residents and town.  It is exciting to see how our voices can be heard and actions taken by us will improve the topography and aesthetics of Stoneham now and be everlasting.
