Stoneham Figure Skating Club

Sad to see that the Stoneham Figure Skating club is no longer offering freestyle ice or group lessons. It was always a small club in comparison to other organizations in the area but it still provided an avenue for Nancy Kerrigan to learn and begin her journey to Olympic Medals.  Several skaters later became coaches and passed on the lessons they had learned while participating in this club. Those who did not pursue skating in later years still developed the ability to face obstacles in their future endeavors by their determination to master a Lutz and Axel Jump  or facing an audience in a show or competition.  We may be few that were members in years gone by but our memories are solid and wonderful.
