The question also arises as to who is an abutter and who should receive notice of the hearing.
There are direct abutters, and abutters to abutters within 300 feet of Weiss Farm according to the configuration of the property being considered for the comprehensive permit.
This development however is not only of concern to abutters as it will have drastic consequences on town services to the whole community, overburden our schools and school and town budgets. It will be a severe public safety issue to Stoneham and Melrose residence based on the heavily traversed road of Franklin Street which has schools, churches, apartments, a nursing home, an assisted living and small commercial businesses.
Abutters are not alone in being aggrieved by this development and all residents have a right to be heard at this hearing.
Please come tonight and unite with your neighbors in protecting the quality of life you have and want to continue having.
