Shoveling Sidewalks!

Hi All, just a friendly reminder that shoveling sidewalks is not only a common courtesy in a civilized town, but a public safety issue. I live near Main Street between Andreas and Friendly's, and see so many children, bus catchers, dog walkers, etc have to go out into a snow-narrowed Main Street (where, as everyone knows, the speed limit is never observed and seldom enforced) and take their lives in their hands. In all cases, the dwellings where sidewalks have not been shoveled-- or, worse, blocked by snow removal-- have immaculate driveways. Please be considerate, and especially consider the children walking to the South School. If you can't do it yourself, ask your plow person, or boost the local economy by hiring a local youth. Also ensure your plow person does not dump huge heaps of snow on the sidewalk. Thanks for reading!
