We have a fantastic opportunity with the upcoming Bikeway and the use of the Railroad Right of Way.  Federal and State funds of approximately $5,500,000 to improve the Bikeway and add additional green space to our community is on the agenda indirectly, If you allow these warrants to be passed and grant leases to the businesses in question   you are hurting your real estate values and the quality of life you desire in Stoneham.

Fear not that you are depriving the livelihood of these businesses but fear what you are doing to your way of life and that of your families.  These businesses had 5 years of opportunity to purchase this land and did not.  Their businesses will survive and flourish without their occupancy on this land.  We need to take back our town from poor planning, profit making developers and commercial establishments that savage our town and have no thought to the betterment of a community and it’s residents.

Stoneham is a vital and thriving town with many positive possibilities for healthy growth and prosperity as long as we keep a watchful eye on those that would be deterrents to our town.  Don’t let it happen.  Show up at special town meeting and deny these warrants and protect your open green space.
