Hearing on Gerald Rd postponed until September 25th at 7:30

Tonight went to Planning Board Meeting for hearing on Gerald Rd subdivision and it has been postponed until September 25th at 7:30.

Guess will have to wait a month to hear what the petitioner plans for the 4 house sub division on Gerald Rd.  Wonder how the projected housing development on that street intends to handle the water problem that in 2005 this individual complained about.  He stated then  that drainage at Weiss Farm had contributed to "worsening flooding" on his property . He also stated the root of his complaint is the relationship between  Weiss Farm and himself over his subdivision, including unsuccessful negotiations over land. ( as written on December 13,2005 Town files complaint on Weiss Farm from Wicked Local Stoneham by Nadine  Wandzilak GHS)

What happened to that development plan with the Planning Board in 2005. Was is turned down and if so why .  What makes this one more palpable  to construct. Did he finally negotiate with Weiss Farm or the intended developer of Weiss Farm to gain land needed for his development.

Since the assisted living on Franklin Street is now under construction and that developer plans to construct a stormwater separator  since no storm drainage currently exists on that site will Gerald Rd be required to do that also for their subdivision.
Will this developer also need variances to hook up to Municipal water and go before the Zoning Board of Appeals.
This developer must also go before the Conservation Board again since no quorum last time and be heard on buffer zones etc on new scheduled hearing on August 26th. The issue of jurisdiction is involved but how can Conservation act without a definitive plan presented to the Planning Board.

By the way did you know that the existing water and sewer mains in this area are atop wooden piles that are 12-18 feet deep. This indicates poor soil conditions

Has the Building Inspector been brought on board  for review of foundation and retaining wall design. What were the results of the borings completed by the developer.

Questions Questions Questions and how will this all affect my property and my neighbors property and our community.  If we need new pipes for sewers and water will this increase our taxes.  Just think this is only a 4 house subdivision.  What happens when 300 units are built on Weiss Farm.
