Five Things You Need To Know Today: June 21

1. Fruits and veggies: The  begins at 2 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m. and will be held at the Stoneham Town Common. Fruits and vegetables will be available for sale, and the farmers markets are slated to run through Oct. 11.

2. Take a trip: It's the first day of summer and what better way to celebrate than a trip to the Boston Harbor Islands. And it gets better, today is Free Ferry Day, which means you can travel to either George's or Spectacle Island for free. Ferries depart from the Long Wharf North Ferry Center every half hour between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.

3. Dinner time: The , which consists of more than 50 churchgoers from several churches in town providing meals to people from the community, is scheduled for 5:45 p.m. at the , 1 Church St.
