Five Things You Need to Know Today: June 14

1.  The Botume House is hosting a lecture on the future of Massachusetts’ Wildlands and Woodlands from 7-9 p.m. Harvard ecologist Betsy Colburn will discuss conservation strategy and the significance of the Middlesex Fells.

2. Fresh produce anyone? The first of the season begins at 2 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m. and will be held at the Stoneham Town Common. Fruits and vegetables will be available for sale, and the farmer's markets are slated to run for 18 weeks before ending Oct. 11.

3. Coming together: The , which consists of more than 50 churchgoers from several churches in town providing meals to people from the community, is scheduled for 5:45 p.m. at the , 1 Church St.
