Mystic Valley Boys Celebrate Senior Night

The Mystic Valley boys’ varsity boys’ basketball team celebrated its Senior Night with a

67-40 victory over St. Joseph’s Prep of Brighton. The win improved the Eagles’ regular season record to 11-9, the sixth consecutive winning season in the program’s continually successful history.

Following the game, Mystic Valley head coach Tony Ferullo sang the praises of the five seniors on this year’s team including Stoneham's Amro Ali:

Amro Ali:  “Amro is a very hard working and confident individual who plays excellent defense and gives every ounce of energy he has.  We usually put him on the opponent’s top scorer and he accepts that role as a personal challenge.  He is one of those players who never gives up, no matter what the score, and he leads by example.”
