Stoneham Garden Club's First Meeting Today

Carol Gay has been a member of the Stoneham Gardening Club for a long time now.

“I grew up in Stoneham and was taking my mother to the gardening club. Not long after that, I became a member.”

Gay said that the first record meeting of the Stoneham Gardening Club goes back to 1928. “We work at the estate at Whip Hill Manor near the Middlesex Fells Reservation,” Gay said. “The Garden Club uses it for their meeting. We mainly share information during thin winter months. During the warm months, we are out in the beautiful walled in garden.”
