The New "Tobacco" Products and the Industry's Efforts to Hook Teens

The Stoneham High School
Council extends an invite to all parents/guardians of high school, middle
school and 5th Grade students as well as all citizens of the

community to this informative workshop.  Learn about the tobacco related products our youth are being exposed to -
What is an E-Cig – a Blunt – an
E-hookah – Snuff and Dip?  If you can’t identify what each is, please

attend and become informed.

Maureen Buzby, Tobacco Program Coordinator, Mystic Valley Tobacco and Alcohol Program will share
information about the work she is involved with in the ongoing battle to keep
our young people from becoming hooked on nicotine.



Ms. Buzby will also provide the current status on recent efforts in Stoneham to update Board of Health
regulations to prevent youth access to both tobacco and nicotine-only products.

Awareness is step one in the
fight to keep harmful products out of the hands of kids.
