Reading Community Singers presents Peace, Love & Harmony

Reading Community Singers will present
their 2014 Spring concert "Peace, Love & Harmony" on Saturday
evening,  May 17th at 7:30
PM
at the Parker Middle School, 45 Temple St, Reading, MA.  This year's performance will include a Medley
of All-Time hits called "So You Think You Can Dance", Pop favorites
like "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing" and "Hey, Soul
Sister", "Secondhand White Baby Grand" from the hit TV show
SMASH, a Choral Selection from the "Les Miserables" movie and many more.



 



You will also have the opportunity to hear
our 2014 RCS Scholarship winner Amy Sokolow, who is a senior at Lynnfield High
School, perform three vocal numbers, one while playing guitar and the other two
accompanied by her father Rich.  Amy is a
member of the National Honor Society and an active member of her school’s music
department, including the Chamber Singers, the school’s a Capella group, Sweet
Treble, and the school musicals.  She will be attending Tufts University
in the fall to study music and communications.
