Stoneham Resident Carol Sloane Sings Sunday at the Providence Marriott

Head out to the Providence Marriott, 1 Orms St., Sunday, April 27th at 4 p.m. for some great music -- and a little dancing too.

Carol Sloane, a Rhode Island native and long-time Stoneham resident, who began as a big band singer with the Les and Larry Elgart Orchestra and went on to perform with jazz great Oscar Peterson among many others, is the featured performer. She’ll be backed by Tony Bennett's regular quartet - pianist Mike Renzi, drummer Artie Cabral, Gray Sargent on guitar and Marshall Wood on bass.
