Sen. Warren Campaigns for Congressional Candidate Clark in Framingham

Sen. Elizabeth Warren who began her campaign for U.S. senator at Framingham State University was back on campus Wednesday encouraging students and MetroWest residents to get out and vote for congressional candidate Katherine Clark, a Democratic state senator from Melrose.

Voters will go to the polls Tuesday, Dec. 10 to elect a U.S. Representative for the 5th Congressional District. The special election was needed after former representative Edward Markey became the state's junior senator.

Clark, who won a crowded Democratic primary in October, is one of four candidates that will be on the ballot Tuesday. Voters in more than 20 communities will vote in the unusual December election.

With many special elections in Massachusetts these last couple of years, and with this special election falling during the holiday season, Clark urged Framingham State University students to study for finals, campaign for her the next week and vote on Tuesday.
