Five Things: Stone Zoo to Celebrate Paddy's 1st Birthday

1. Happy birthday! Paddy, a white-cheeked gibbon, turns one this month and to celebrate is having a special birthday party from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8. Vanessa Trien and the Jumping Monkeys, a band for families, is slated to perform in the amphitheater from 10:30-11:15 a.m. and from 11:30 a.m. to noon, according to a press statement. There will also be zookeeper encounters, crafts and other fun activities throughout the day, read the statement.
