Five Things: Man Claims A Pitbull Bit His Dog in Stoneham

Here are five things to know for Tuesday, Oct. 16:

1. In case you missed it: A man claims his dog was bitten by a pitbull on Summerhill Street, according to a Stoneham Police log.

2. Time is running out: Don't forget to register to vote by Wednesday, Oct. 17 for the Nov. 6 election. Citizens not registered to vote in Stoneham and who will be 18 years or older on or before Nov. 6, can register by mail or in person at the Town Clerk’s Office.

3. Meeting time: The Stoneham Council on Aging is slated to meet at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Town Hall Conference Room. Check out the agenda in advance of the session.

4. Dining together: The Community Dinner Program, which consists of more than 50 churchgoers from several churches in town providing meals to people from the community, is scheduled for 5:45 p.m. Tuesday at the First Congregational Church in Stoneham.
