2. Author talk: Stoneham author Leo Maloney is scheduled to speak at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Stoneham Public Library, according to the library website. Maloney, who worked in Black Ops for more than 30 years, will be talking about his book "Termination Orders" which is based off of his secret missions.

3. Local arrests: A pair of Stoneham men were recently arrested on separate charges, according to a police log.

4. Senior Chorus session: The Silver Notes senior chorus will be rehearsing at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, according to the Senior Center website.

5. Zoo program: Visit Stone Zoo from 10:30-11 a.m. Thursdsay to attend the Drop-In Wild Adventure Program, according to the Zoo New England website. The program is geared toward families and children ages 3 to 5 years old. The cost is $5 per child; however, children under 2 can get in free.
