About The Talk: Retired black ops agent Leo Maloney will discuss his past career working for a clandestine government agency.  He will share some of the terminology used by black operatives and some selected information about some of missions.  Maloney will provide a detailed description of the recruitment process and required training both in the classroom and in the field.  He will discuss his expertise in both weapons and hand-to-hand combat.   Maloney will explain how today’s agencies are more focused on recruiting applicants who are proficient in mission critical languages like Arabic, Dari, Chinese, Korean, Farci, Russian, Turkish and Indonesian.  He will also detail how cover businesses are used by black operatives.

About The Speaker: Leo Maloney was born in Massachusetts, where he spent his childhood and graduated from Northeastern University.  While in the army, he was recruited to become a deep cover Black Ops contractor for a clandestine government agency, and his life changed forever.  He was assigned to highly secretive missions throughout the world. After leaving his career in black ops, Leo incorporated many of his experiences in his recent novels – “Termination Orders” and “Silent Assassin.”
