Stonehamite to Perform with Local Band at Chamber Concert Series

A classic car show and concert are scheduled for Thursday night at the Stoneham Town Common.

A Stoneham resident will be performing with her bandmates in HOOda thUNK from Thursday night at the Town Common as part of the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce's Summer Concert Series, according to the chamber website.

Joanie Cicatelli, of Stoneham, is the lead singer for HOOda thUNK, while her fellow band members are guitarists David Giust and Ray Zerkle, bassist Andy Ducharme and drummer Mike Mazola, according to the band's website. HOOda thUNK plays a variety of music, doing covers of classic rock, rock and alternative songs, according to their song list. The group will also be performing another show from 6-8 p.m. on July 17 at the Danvers Concert Series.

The Stoneham concert series kicked off on June 27 and will run through Aug. 8. The free concerts run from 7-9 p.m. on Thursdays.

Get to the Town Common ahead of the show, as there will be a classic car show starting around 5:45 p.m. in the parking lot next to the common, according to the chamber website. A raffle will also be going on during the concert.

"Thanks to the generosity of the Stoneham Theatre, we have a raffle drawing every Thursday for two tickets to a Season 13 performance for each night of the concert series!" reads the chamber site. "So every Thursday, a winner will be drawn rather than just on the last night of the series. Stop by the concert for more details and to enter."

If inclement weather crops up, the concert will be relocated indoors at nearby Stoneham Town Hall.
