YOUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

We have met people in life who struggle with commitments, whether to themselves, to others, to appointments, to an activity or a life decision.

Everyone wants more commitment in their lives.  They want friends and family to be committed to them.  They want to be able to reciprocate that commitment back to others.

You may have had an important family event or a business trip where you became sick and you had to cancel your plans.

You may have left a commitment because of your emotions drawing you in a different direction.

The inconvenience and the lost opportunity probably did not sit well with you.  The fact people couldn’t trust you didn’t make you feel good.

When people struggle to commit, they need to look inwards to themselves.  Is it their lack of confidence?  Is it their fear of failure or disappointment?  Is it their physical health that restricts them?

One of the strongest paths to developing commitment is to first strengthen your mind and body.  When you feel better mentally and physically, it’s easier to commit to other things.

If your mind and body aren’t strong, you won’t have any greater strength to honor your commitments and build more trusting relationships in your life.
