Take Control Over Your Life

Successful individuals take responsibility and take control. Unsuccessful individuals place blame and eliminate their control.

Everyone wants more control over their life. Control is a mindset.

Successful individuals take responsibility and take control. Unsuccessful individuals place blame and eliminate their control.

The first set of people understand that they have 100 percent control over their reality and by controlling themselves, they control their reality.

The other set of individuals believe they have less than 100 percent control over their world.

What are the signs of someone without control? These people say things like, “My relationship is ending because she is too demanding,” “She’s a jerk and the reason why I’m not promoted,” or “My job is so busy, I can’t do anything else.”

How many times have you blamed someone or something else for your problems?

On the other hand, when was the last time you heard anyone say, “I have this awesome relationship and it’s all her fault,” “I blame my promotion on my boss. It has nothing to do with what I did,” or “I have no idea how I got the time to have this vacation.”

People don’t blame anything for when things go positively for them but they blame all sorts of things for when things go negatively for them. How does that make sense?

You either are responsible for your life or you are not. Whether you have something or not, you’re still responsible either way.

As a martial arts student and instructor for more than 14 years, I have seen hundreds who have taken more control over their mind and body.

Because they had more control over their core self, their mind and body, they instinctively took their increased control into other parts of their life.

These same individuals changed into better relationships, jobs, better salaries and happier lifestyles.

Usually, easy changes can be done by the individual on their own. High-level substantive changes usually require the assistance of others as teachers, advisors and mentors to help you stay on track.

As society moves forward, there is a widening gap between people who learned to build up their control and those who give up their control and think nothing can change.
