The Week Ahead: A Golf Tournament, A Farmers Market and a Fashion Swap.

Take a peek at what the coming week has to offer in the Stoneham area.

As the weekend comes to an end and the work week is again upon us, check out these events  happening in the Stoneham area:

Monday

  • (20 Elm St., North Reading, Thomson Country Club) Starting at 12:30 p.m. this golf tournament has all kinds of prizes, allows carts and for $150 includes golf, lunch, cart and a surf and turf buffet dinner.
  • : (76r Winn St., Woburn) From 6-8:15 p.m. revitalize your tired body with a session of gentle and non-invasive Reiki. Donations of $20-$35 are suggested.

Tuesday

  • (3 Central St.) From 5:30-7:30 p.m. meet the Farm Hill vendors, manager and volunteers at their large open house. Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served.
  • (149 Franklin St.) This council meeting, held at Stoneham High, will begin at 6 p.m. It is the last meeting of the school year.

Wednesday

  • : (1 Church St.) From noon–1 p.m. there is expected to be a discussion on domestic violence, healthy relationships and how to get help at the
  • (136 Elm St., Stoneham Senior Center) Beginning at 9 a.m. you can join Bobbie MacKenzie for Nintendo Wii Bowling. You can bowl sitting down and no experience is necessary.

Thursday

  • : (590 Main St., Melrose) From 6-9 p.m. bring a bag of gently used clothing and head home with a bag of brand new (used) clothes from others. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
  • : (300 Haverhill St., Reading) From 1:30– 7:30 p.m. head to this blood drive at . If you donate, the American Red Cross will give you a 24-pack of water and a coupon for 20 percent off at Walgreens. 

Friday

  • : (136 Elm St.) Catch Senator Clark at the Stoneham Senior Center from 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
  • : (431 Main St.) Head down to the from 10:30–11:15 a.m. with your child for a few fun stories and some crafts.
