Five Things: Senior Chorus and Tambourine Band, and More

Five things about Stoneham you need to know to start off your day.

Five things to know today, Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013:

1. Mostly sunny today. The high will be near 43 according to the National Weather Service. Tonight, partly cloudy, with a low around 31.

2. Senior Chorus and Tambourine Band. The Silver Notes Chorus rehearses every Thursday (except holidays) at 9:30 a.m. at the Stoneham Senior Center. The Geri-Jingles Tambourine Band rehearses immediately after. The groups perform at various Stoneham Senior Center events including the holiday party, at other events around the community, at fundraising events, and at area senior centers and retirement homes. 3. Overeaters Anonymous. This support group meets Thursdays at 6 p.m. at the Stoneham Senior Center.

4. Real estate pre-licensing course. Century 21 Celli is running a Massachusetts Real Estate Pre-Licensing Course for those that are interested in a career in real estate. Starting on March 6 for 10 Wednesdays from 6-10 p.m.
