Five Things: Redistricting on School Committee Agenda Tonight

Five things about Stoneham you need to know to start off your day.

Five things to know today, Thursday, Feb. 28 , 2013:

1. Rain once again. Rain showers are likely throughout the day and into the night, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures are expected to reach the high 40s as well, so there might not be much snow left after today.

2. Redistricting discussion tonight. The School Committee meets at 7:30 p.m. tonight and redistricting is on the agenda. Read the February Redistricting Report at www.stonehamschools.org.

3. Senior Chorus and Tambourine Band. The Silver Notes Chorus rehearses every Thursday (except holidays) at 9:30 a.m. at the Stoneham Senior Center. The Geri-Jingles Tambourine Band rehearses immediately after. The groups perform at various Stoneham Senior Center events including the holiday party, at other events around the community, at fundraising events, and at area senior centers and retirement homes. For information call Linda Kirk at (978) 475-1852.

4. Overeaters Anonymous. This support group meets Thursdays at 6 p.m. at the Stoneham Senior Center.
