Community Corner

Vote March 4, 2014

We are writing to ask our fellow Stoneham voters to join us in supporting Jason Lewis for the open State Senate seat here in the 5th Middlesex district.  As you know, our former State Senator, Katherine Clark, is now in Congress representing our community.  There will be a special primary election on Tuesday, March 4, to fill her former position.

Jason Lewis, our current State Representative, has been a dedicated and hard working representative for Stoneham on Beacon Hill over the last five years. He will make an equally successful and well respected State Senator.

Rep. Lewis has successfully proposed changes in the school aid formula that has brought in over $150,000 in additional funding for our Stoneham schools.

Rep. Lewis has also secured construction funding of $5.5 million in federal and state funding for our local Tri-Community Bikeway and Greenway.  He has supported and helped with efforts to save the Stone Zoo. Rep. Lewis has supported our local leaders in efforts to focus on economic development of our community.  He has worked with Stoneham to ensure that development of Weiss Farm reflects the needs and safety of our town.

Please mark your calendar for Tues. March 4 and join us in supporting the best candidate for State Senator, Jason Lewis.  Our community needs your vote.  Thank you
