Veterans tax workoff program

The Town of Stoneham has recently developed a new tax work off program for the Military Veterans of our community. The program will provide up to $500 in tax credits annually. Those who qualify must be capable of performing light duty maintenance work. This program does allow for a volunteer to work in place of the Veteran if the Veteran is unable to do so. Please go to The Veterans section or Assessor's section of the town website, look for information on Stoneham cable, or check the local newspapers. Feel free to call Jim Devlin at the Veterans office at
781 363 9970. Thank you.
