Town Meeting

Town Meeting is being held Tuesday, Sept. 3rd at Stoneham Town Hall.  This meeting will offer everyone the opportunity to learn more about the proposed development at Weiss Farm. Those in attendance will be able to vote for funding to support a process to help save Stoneham from the hands of a developer whose plan is neither sensitive nor deeply concerned with its dangerous ramifications.   For everyone with children attending Colonial Park School or Stoneham High School this year or in the future, this proposed project on Franklin Street will severely impact vehicular traffic and pedestrian traffic on already congested roadways used by students, parents, and teachers.  Travel will not be safe, and safety must be our primary consideration. While there may be other issues about this proposed development  that will negatively impact Stoneham, the safety issue is clearly evident and  demands immediate attention from everyone.  As a parent or a concerned resident of Stoneham, attending Town Meeting of September 7th at 7:00P.M. at the Stoneham Town Hall is MUST!
