Call for Historical Commission Award Nominations
Heritage Award will be given this spring.
The Stoneham Historical Commission is pleased to announce that this May it will present its Heritage Award that has been given annually since 1992 for “exceptional contributions to preservation and awareness of Stoneham’s historical legacy” to a worthy citizen, business or organization.
The list of previous recipients includes Beacon Street LLC, Bruce Netten, Maureen Saltzman, SHS Class of 82 Beautification Fund, Stoneham Fire Department, Zachary Kline, Paulene “Bee” Russo, The Lister Family, Nancy Smith and Maureen Welch, The Copley Group, Donna Weiss, The Mayo Family, The Fuller House, The Symes Family, Richard A. Johnson, Stoneham Historical Society, Stoneham Council on Aging/Senior Center, Nicholas and Marjorie Apalakis, Stoneham Savings Bank, Alliance House, Annamae Arsenault, Elizabeth M. Whelan, Mary K. Marchant and Joanne B. Harriman.
