If you are spending your vacation seaside or in a pool make sure that you use a leave-in conditioners beforehand. Saltwater and chlorine can cause harsh dryness to your locks and make your hair problems even worse.
Colored, foiled or chemically-treated hair suffer the most. Therefore, it is advisable to clip your hair and put on a swimming cap before you are taking a dip. If you do not have a swimming cap handy then I would suggest a leave-in conditioner for the sun such as KMS Solar Perfection All Day Defense. This light-weight, leave-in sun conditioner is the perfect detangler for wet, unruly beach hair and leaves the hair instantly hydrated.
An ultraviolet filter and an anti-oxidant help protect the hair against the ravages of the sun, sea and pool water. Wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo immediately after swimming to get rid of all the residues of chlorine and salt.

Great tip! I will definitely need some of that leave-in conditioner.
