Will you Adopt Tuxedo Tom?

This rambunctious two-year-old cat wants to be a part of your life.

I am a leader, not a follower. I want to lead you to play. I will snoop around your house until I find a fun toy and then insist you play with me. I love to play, hunt, pounce, chase, anything. I am a busy and active boy at two years old. Found in the yard of a PAWS volunteer, I am very happy to be safely inside and living life as an indoor kitty. But, that doesn’t hinder by love of adventure and play, play, play. Do you want to be my playmate?

I want to lead you on an adventure. I am curious about everything. I love to climb and explore, including the top of the fridge, your bookcases, and anywhere else I can sit and watch the house. I need a home where it is okay to test the boundaries. You might say I have the manners of an aristocat (not an aristocrat). In any case, I promise to love you if you will be patient with me and let me be me.

I want to be the lead cat in your life. I like to rub up against your legs and give you my scent so all will know that you are mine, mine, mine. I guess by now you have figured out that I am an alpha cat and an active boy. I am too busy to sit in your lap and watch the world go by. I want to be part of that parade and I want you along with me. I will admit, however, that I have tried some lap sitting recently and I did find it fun…soft and warm and kind of nice. So maybe in that department you might have something to teach me.

If you can keep up with me, I’m quite easy to please. I love food: mine, yours, another cat’s...it’s all great. I will eat anything, anywhere, anytime. I will even open your grocery bags and help myself if you don’t put things away. I can help you keep the place neat in that way.

I know I look cute and innocent on the outside, but I can be a rambunctious adolescent. My short time outside left a few mental scares, making me cautious about new things. I need someone to see my heart of gold under all this shiny fur. If you can do this, I think we can be a great couple in the dance of life. I might even let you lead…sometimes…when I grow up a bit. Let’s meet. I think we could be a great pair.
