Stoneham Motorcyclist in Critical Condition After Crash in NH

James Mouradian of Stoneham remains in critical condition after suffering serious injuries in an accident Saturday in Candia.

A Stoneham motorcyclist was in critical condition Monday following a crash Saturday on Old Candia Road in Candia, NH, a hospital spokesperson recently told the New Hampshire Union Leader.

James Mouradian, 39, of Stoneham, was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital with significant injuries after the 3:30 p.m. accident, police told the Union Leader.

Candia Police Chief Michael McGillen told the newspaper that the motorcycle had the right of way when the accident occurred. The motorcycle collided with the side of a Toyota Rav 4 as it took a left from Old Candia Road onto Adams Road, police said.

Police said Mouradian was not wearing a helmet.

Francisco Arciniegas, 50, of Londonderry, NH, was not hurt in the crash, the newspaper reported. It is unclear whether Arciniegas will face any criminal charges.

Witnesses to the accident are asked to call Candia police at 603-483-2318.
