I used to live in Georgia where the dogwoods grow naturally. Just like being here in October, the place to be in the spring is the south. The flowers smell all over. We see them about May. Glad they survived the "winter".

I can only imagine how beautiful it must be to live in Georgia when the flowers are in bloom. Must be quite a sight not to mention smell.

The smell is unreal, I think that is the attraction to the south in April. Not only dogwoods, that make the woods look pink/white all over, but lilacs/azaleas are all adding to the scent. Plus, the temp is about 85 or so. I am from Boston, though.
