Nearly 500 NSTAR customers in Stoneham are without power Tuesday morning, according to the energy company's website.
Of the 10,585 NSTAR customers in Stoneham, 492 (5 percent) were experiencing power outages as of 6 a.m. Tuesday, according to a power outage map on the NSTAR website.
From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., power outages increased significantly from nearly three dozen homes without electricity to 325. Then, from 6 p.m. Monday to 6 a.m. Tuesday, outages increased from 325 to 492.
