Five Things: Public Presentation on New Middle School Project Tonight

Check the "Patch Facts" column for Nov. 30.

1. Stretch of Ravine Road to become one-way for trial period: Stoneham Town Administrator David Ragucci told Stoneham and neighboring Melrose residents Tuesday night that Ravine Road will become a one-way from its intersection with the Fellsway East to Woodland Road for at least a trial period of about six months and maybe permanently. 2. Armed robbery update: Stoneham Police Chief Richard Bongiorno said Tuesday that a 56-year-old clerk at the DB Mart was assaulted during Monday’s armed robbery and sustained a minor head injury. Click here for the full story.

3. School meetings: The School Building Committee will hold another public presentation on the new middle school project at 7 p.m. tonight in Stoneham Middle School’s auditorium (see agenda). The School Committee will have its regularly-scheduled meeting at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Stoneham High School library (see agenda).

4. Who are the best florists in the Stoneham area? Be sure to chime in on this week’s “Patch Picks” column. So far Evergreen Florist and Andrea D’Amelio Floral Design have received recommendations.
