Stoneham TV's 4th Annual 'Donations from the Heart' Food Drive
Stoneham TV’s fourth annual “Donations from the Heart” Food Drive planned for the Valentine’s Day season, is Stoneham TV’s way to help the efforts of the Stoneham/Board of Health Food Pantry.
Here is how it works:
1. Donate a food item or toiletry item at Stoneham TV, 53 Central Street, Stoneham by Wednesday, February 13, 2013. *Additional collection boxes are at The Stoneham Senior Center, 136 Elm Street, Stoneham, The Boys and Girls Club of Stoneham, 15 Dale Court, Stoneham and Super Stop and Shop, 295 Main Street, Stoneham.
2. Fill out a “Valentine’s Day Message Form” which includes your Valentine’s Day message to your special someone (forms are located at collection sites)
3. In return, your special Valentine’s Day message will be shown on Stoneham TV’s public access channel all day on Valentine’s Day, Thursday, February 14, 2013.
Special Valentine’s messages collected during the “Donations from the Heart” Food Drive can be seen on Valentine’s Day on Stoneham TV’s public access channel: Comcast Channel 9, RCN Channel 3, and Verizon Channel 34.
The Stoneham/Board of Health Food Pantry is in need of the following food items: mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, salad dressings, vegetable oil (32 oz.), sugar (2 lb.), salt, flour (2 lb.), jams and jellies (including sugar free), pancake mix, syrup (including sugar free), tuna fish (solid white), coffee and tea (regular & decaf.), juice boxes, jars of Pasta sauce, hearty, ready to eat soups – beef, Italian wedding, chowders, chicken, canned tomato products – whole, crushed, stewed, paste, Rice pilaf mixes, and crackers.
The Stoneham/Board of Health Food Pantry is in need of the following non-food items:laundry detergent, dishwashing liquid, paper towels, toothpaste, diapers and baby wipes.
