Stoneham Resident Selected as Student of the Quarter at Arlington Catholic High School

  • Student: Allison O’Neill
  • School: Arlington Catholic High School
  • Class/grade: Class of 2015
  • Award: Student of the Quarter

Stoneham resident, Allison O’Neill, has been selected as the Arlington Catholic High School Sophomore Student of the Second Quarter.  At the end of every quarter, teachers nominate students and then the full faculty takes a final vote on who should receive the honor.  A student from each class is chosen based on their commitment to living
the AC motto: “Act justly, love tenderly walk humbly with God.”

Allison joined the AC community from Stoneham Middle School.  She has an older sister who is a senior at AC.  Allison is actively involved in numerous sports and clubs; she plays soccer, track, and tennis as well as participates
in the Humanitarian & International clubs here at AC.  She is also part of AC’s student senate.  She has achieved AC’s honor roll and was nominated and accepted into the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine, which takes place this summer.

When asked what she likes best about AC and the school community she responded, “I love my teachers and the
challenge of my Honors and AP classes.  Allison’s best memory at AC is when she participated in Relay for Life event last June as a member of AC’s Humanitarian club.  Her future goal is to go to medical school to become a research doctor.
