Popular function facility Montvale Plaza announces its brand new monthly entertainment series featuring unique comedy, music and theme shows.

Produced in partnership with Burlington’s Harmon Marino Entertainment, the series was created to give north shore area residents an alternative to Boston’s big ticket prices, traffic, and parking difficulties. 

The Stoneham facility kicks off the Montvale Plaza Entertainment Series beginning Saturday Feb. 11with The World Gone Crazy Comedy Band featuring WBZ TV & radio’s Michael Coleman. The show will be hosted by WROR’s and 96.9 Talks Hank Morse.

 “We are excited at the Montvale Plaza to be launching this new entertainment series and partnering with Harmon-Marino Entertainment” says Marty Murphy, owner of Montvale Plaza. Given the economic outlook, we understand that people still want to come out and socialize but are looking for a better bang for their buck. We look forward to providing some great quality shows, plus excellent food all at an affordable price”   

Other shows scheduled include a St. Patrick’s Day Party with authentic Irish dinner and music by the popular Irish Rovers Band on Saturday, March 17. Frequent White House Entertainer and Jon Stetson (from The A&E Network) brings his breathtaking brand of audience interactive magic, mindreading and mentalism to the Plaza on Saturday April 14. In May, standup comedy is on the menu featuring “Parents Night Out”, a theme show about family life featuring area comedians Karen Morgan and Jim Colliton. Look for appearances by Jim Plunkett and the audience interactive shows like “Real Housewives of The Mob” as well.

“I think more people in this area would love to get out of the house and enjoy great live entertainment, but unfortunately in this area it usually means heading into town” says Harmon Marino’s founder Gary Marino. “With the series you get a variety of one of a kind shows, great food and free parking in many cases within 10 minute drive of the areas cities and towns”.

Local charities will also benefit from the Montvale Plaza Series, with both Harmon-Marino and Montvale Plaza donating a percentage of the shows profits to local charities such as Samantha’s Harvest, The Weber Foundation and Generation Excel among others.
